If I can help somebody as I pass along, if I can cheer somebody with a word or song, if I can show somebody he's traveling wrong, then my living will not be in vain. - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Acoustic Outreach is dedicated to Brandon Coker, an extraordinary young man who we met while running a program called Edwin's Angels.

Brandon was 16 and the oldest of Ray and Lisa Coker's three boys. Brandon excelled at cross-country and was a valuable member of any team or group that he participated in. He had a wonderful sense of humor, but his most inspiring quality was his faith. Brandon was a fabulous role model for all ages.

Meet Bethany Groce...as told to us by her mother.
Bethany is 17 years old. She was born on April 26, 1985 and she is the youngest of three girls. She was always very athletic and healthy until diagnosed in July 2001 with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia.

Her leukemia was such that just chemotherapy was not an option, and her only hope was a bone marrow transplant. Shortly after the initial diagnosis, she was transferred to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta for the transplant. Her sister Jill was a perfect match. The transplant was performed October 18, 2001. She had no complications and did great following transplant, was able to move back home in January, and went back to school in April.
